Baby Boy Name Reveal
We’re so excited to share our son’s name! In this house, we always agree on our names by the half-way mark. We love referring to the newcomer by name long before we hear their first cry.
A little history of the name game around here. So far we have Bauer Grace and Kingsley Greer.
Bauer was our “boy” name, but we loved it so much we decided to use it when we found out we were expecting a little lady! I couldn’t imagine Bauer going by anything else.
Kingsley is a nod to my maiden name: King. I’m one of three girls, and this is the best we could do to have the name live on.
Since we have a Bauer and Kingsley, two fairly unique names, we couldn’t have a well…Steve, per se. Our final addition is named after my husband’s favorite author. His most notable work is Jurassic Park (although, that’s not Kelly’s favorite book!). He gets his middle name from Kelly’s father.
All of our children have original names. They may not be for everyone. But we truly love them. So if they aren’t for you, tell someone who cares (e.g. not me). Yah! Here we go…

The name is pronounced “KRY” + “tuhn”. Or if you ask Kingsley, “Cwighten”.
