Glamping Parties are All the Rage
You know the Pinterest moms that pull together impeccable parties without breaking a sweat? Well, I’m not one of those moms. But I would have fooled you if you were at our house this past weekend for Bauer’s 5th birthday!
Enter: Imagine That Entertainment.
Bauer loves parties. The girl lives for her birthday. I know the time will come when she’ll outgrow princesses and sparkles, but until then I make it my mission (or hire someone I should say) to bring all the magic.
This past fall I met Kimber from Imagine That through Instagram. I quickly learned that she has a passion for imaginative play and an eye for details. I’m not a Pinterest mom. But Kimber is. And her understanding of the pressures of motherhood, combined with her desire to create personal and magical memories led to Imagine That.
Imagine That takes the stress out of parties. Kimber and her amazing team of vendors work with you to tailor an event that your little one will remember for years to come.
I know Bauer won’t soon forget the magical night she spent glamping in our living room along side her best friends!
Kimber worked with the best vendors from near and far to create a truly magical evening for Bauer and her friends. My parents were in town for the party and we all sat in awe as our living room was transformed! As much as I love a well-executed event, I REALLY love working with a team of people as kind as the group Imagine That pulled together.
A special thank you to:
Alpha-Lit – this was the first time Bauer saw her name in lights. But I have a feeling it won’t be the last! This was such an incredible touch. So fun for a birthday party, wedding or engagement party! This year Bauer learned to spell her name and seeing her read B-A-U-E-R was just too fun!
Atlanta Character Parties – halfway through the “slumber” party Anna and Elsa showed up on our doorstep in their PJs. If I could bottle the squeals of delight up that filled the house I would never frown another day in my life! The princesses took the lead with crafts, sang songs, led ribbon dancing and read the girls a bedtime story. Before heading back to Arendelle, they gifted Bauer an official princess crown – that she’s still wearing….72 hours later.
Magical Momdom – the girls all left with such incredible sensory play boxes. Allison, the mom behind the boxes is a speech therapist and mother of three. I love giving Bauer’s friends something that’s educational vs. something that will end up in the trash bin the next day. I know there’s a lot of pressure to have party favors…and so if you want to include them, I think this is such an amazing idea for something unique. Check out her site, because she has a huge assortment of sensory boxes to choose from – and larger ones for gifts beyond favors, too! Allison put together a special “princess” one for the birthday girl!
Shabby For Me – Rachel, designer and stylist behind Shabby for Me put together the most darling wands and personalized bracelets for the girls. I just love how special the girls all felt seeing their names on bracelets outside their tent! Her Etsy shop is overflowing with dreamy bracelets, wands and crowns!
Celia Petrelli – Celia’s handmade dolls from Brazil were a big hit! My girls have slept with them tucked under their arms the last three nights.
The Modern Soiree – you can’t have a princess party without flowers! The Modern Soiree put together the sweetest little arrangements for each girl’s tent tray and two larger arrangements for the room. The flowers were stunning! Bauer’s school celebrated Teacher Appreciation Day today and we brought them in for her teacher’s to enjoy. They still looked just as radiant three days later!
I really can’t thank Kimber and her team enough. The energy she poured into Bauer’s special day was next level. If you’ve been here awhile, you may remember the magical Christmas boxes the girls received early in the holiday season….that was Kimber, too.
Long story, short. I think motherhood is all about knowing our strengths and our limits. We are constantly pouring so much onto our plates…if you’ve got a special event in the works, let Kimber take the reigns. And tell her Meg sent you!
